Had the best experience I could have hoped for at Santa Monica Motors. They diagnosed the problem, called with an estimate and to obtain authorization. Went on to give the car a once over and found a few minor but important things that they then called to let me know. Karen was wonderful, patiently answering all questions and I had many. Called with updates as to when I could expect to pick up the car. At pick up total bill was $600 less than estimated. Car runs so much better! Such peace of mind to have a reliable, honest, competent repair shop!

This place was great for my smog check. I called after 4 on a Friday to ask if I could come in and they said yes happily (they close at 5). Car was done quickly and efficiently. This place was recommended by a neighbor and I'm glad I took their recommendation. Would definitely go again.
