I’ve been to Santa Monica Motors twice for smog checks. Both times, they were incredibly kind, professional, and efficient! They completed the smog check within 20 mins and had a nice space to sit in while I waited. They’re also in a really walkable area if you want to take a stroll while you wait. I highly recommend them!

Santa Monica Motors has became my go to place for any vehicle issues or updates (smog check or registration) I have been more than satisfied with their service on my vehicle and their customer service as well, the entire staff is so kind and amazing, they will help you with all your issues if you communicate with them. I really like how they show so much care for my vehicle and they make sure all the maintenance is up to date with their detailed inspections. I would 100% recommend this place, they will treat your vehicle like if it was their own.

I pulled into the shop at 3:25 and was encouraged to pull right in. The friendliest crew EVER was there on Saturday to help me. I brought my pup and was happy to learn SM Motors is also dog-friendly, which is the best. Overall, a nice relaxed happy vibe is always there to greet you. I love this place!

Fast and friendly service. They even checked to make sure my vehicle was ready for testing because I had to replace my battery just a few days before and that can cause problems with the computers until they all get synced up again.
