I have been going to Santa Monica Motors for as long as I have had a car. Their service is really on point, their invoicing and inspection reports are great and the customer service is fast and friendly. Great place to go if you need work done on your car!

I was asked for a review by AAA, which I did. This below is what I wrote. If you are in a hurry, then read only the last sentence, else read it all. I have been going to Santa Monica Motors for 26 years for the smog check on all my cars. It is one of the very, very few places where you can find the same people working. I now know Bob, I think Bob is the manager, not sure, for 26 years. Top guy. I recommend the place with my 26 years of experience there. Ah, just for you people to have an idea, I once brought my camper in. It was badly out-of-tune, it would not have passed smog check. Can you imagine that the smog checker did a quick tune-up himself, then continued the smog check, which then the camper passed, AFTER his free tune-up?

Always come here to see Bob when we need a smog check. Pico/Cloverfield area highly recommend this spot for a friendly smog.
