I recently took my Toyota that had a slight clicking coming from the engine to SMM and was absolutely blown away by the service. What sets this place apart is that they actually explain what is happening to you and not talk AT you. After getting scammed at another location I decided to visit SMM based on a reference a friend gave me.Eloy (my mechanic) physically showed me what the problem was, and then walked me through possible solutions. There are no aggressive sales tactics or smoke and mirrors. Truly honest place that discusses all costs with you up front in easy to understand, plane old English. I have had more than my fair share of bad experiences with shops and even if I moved 20 miles away I would come back to SMM. Don the manager gave me a date of when the work would be done, and actually completed the fix a day in advance. All I wanted was a fair place with straight talk and this place has both along with great customer service.Good job SMM. You have earned my business for the long run.
Reasonable price (always check for coupons online though first), fast and quick. I go in, drop off my car, go to the Lazy Daisy for breakfast and then come back and it is done. Staff is friendly too, but that's just a bonus.

I have never not had a great experience at Santa Monica Motors. Everyone there from Don, Ray, the mechanics & the shuttle driver Fidel, makes feel welcomed & taken care of in the best possible way. They are true professionals who care about the customer as well as doing excellent work!
