I took my car in for a smog check and they told me they couldn't do it because my engine light was on and to take it to my mechanic (very old BMW). I had my car repaired and took it back in to Santa Monica Motors today. They did the smog check in 5 minutes.These guys are great mechanics as well. They are HONEST, and kind. And the waiting area is immaculate.Santa Monica Motors ROCKS!!!

I'm a longtime customer. Always great service and good people who explain the work, plus now there's a spacious new office and waiting room. They get good rates for local car rental if necessary and take you there.

I am grateful that your mechanics were able to determine cause of the noise my car was making even though the noise had stopped by the time I brought the car to your shop.
