As an ignorant car owner, it's always a frightening prospect to take a car in for repairs. Being lied to and/or ripped off seems to be the rule instead of the exception... But not at Santa Monica Motors. I never thought like I was getting anything other than the stone cold truth, and all the work I need to have done was broken down into very specific categories. Fix now, fix later, forget about it. This kind of attention to detail kept the cost down and my satisfaction way, way up. Good people, good hands, great choice. Do it.

Normally I procrastinate things like this because the DMV can be such a soul sucking experience. This place is a God send. I was in and out with a smog check AND REGISTRATION in 20 minutes. Just recently moved from out of state and couldn't not have had a better experience (well, maybe if California fees weren't so outrageous). They even put my new plates on for me and are having my new title mailed to my home.
