Fast and excellent service. However, my car didnt pass smog because the battery had died recently and i didnt have 100 miles on it since then. They should have asked me and just everyone in general if my battery had recently died and/or if ive driven more than 100 since. I would have just said no and they could have told me to come back after 100 miles. Instead, i had to pay for my car to fail the test, then pay a discounted price for a retest. This could have been prevented had they just asked me those questions in the first place. Otherwise, they were nice and professional and have a great dribks bar for while youre waiting.

I went in for a smog inspection without an appointment. There was minimal wait time and everyone was nice and super friendly.

So helpful and quick. Painless and easy is how car service should be and the people here know it.

Don, at Santa Monica Motors, made a situation that should have been very stressful, a breeze. He took care of everything, was very attentive, and got it done in such a timely fashion, it's like my car never even broke down. He walked me through everything he was doing and I felt very at ease knowing my car was in his hands. I highly recommend taking your car to Santa Monica Motors. The ambiance in the shop is great as well, it doesn't feel like your in a mechanic shop whatsoever.
