Santa Monica Motors are the doctors that you DO want to see! They spend the time to talk with you, find out what's wrong, give your car a once over to confirm what needs to be done and like magic (and hard work)...it's all fixed! It's too bad we only see them when something is wrong, but they always make it right and with a smile.
I came here last Wednesday to get a quick smog check. I was heading to the DMV to register my vehicle and my appointment time slot was approaching fast. Upon speaking to Bob, he was nice and courteous. Since I needed an appointment ASAP, he originally didn't have anything available for another 20 mins or so. I thanked him for his honesty and I returned back to my car so I could head to the next smog check facility. Upon starting my engine, Bob approached my car and said he will check if anyone could test my car real quick as he realized the sense of urgency. He returned less than a minute later and stated that someone could take my car right away. I was overjoyed. I in no way expected him to get my car worked on that fast as I was content with going to another place. He realized that my car was from NJ where he is also from and I think that helped seal the deal. In under 10 minutes the job was done. I thanked him greatly for his kindness. I didn't expect it nor did I ask for it, but I was highly thankful for it. It's the little things. Thanks Bob and thank you for your generosity.

Great service, as always. I count Santa Motors as one of the blessings in my life this Thanksgiving. Truly! Car problems are inherently stressful and the service provided by Karim, Don, Ray, Fidel and the mechanics is excellent, even fun!

After 120,000 miles my car drives like it is brand new. Don told me that I would have this experience after adjusting the valves and replacing the spark plugs, but I didn't really expect to notice a difference. I thought the car was driving normally. Wow, I had forgotten how it drove when it was new in 2006. It is totally noticable. Both smoother and more powerful acceleration. I love it! Thank you for exceeding my already high expectations for your work.

This was not my first not will this be my last visit. Santa Monica motors has consistently helped me through all of my car troubles on two of my cars. I enjoy the level of professionalism as well as the upbeat attitude of the team. Fantastic shop, hands down one of the best in LA.
It is nice to know there are honest mechanics we can trust to work on our cars. I have been coming to your business since I bought my 1980 Honda. Your location changed but not the service. And I have never had a problem with the service you have given my automobiles.
