Polite and professional phone skills on behalf of the service advisor, Ray, timely communication in regards to service needs and quotes. Authorized work completed in a timely manner with exception of installation of a cabin filter, part had to be ordered and will require another visit. Shuttle service was greatly appreciated, Fidel was courteous and a careful driver.

BOB LIED TO ME! He told me my smog check would take 15-20 minutes, and it took about 5. Seriously, these guys have the smog check business nailed. Found them on Yelp. I've never had a smog check that was so quick and painless. I would strongly recommend them. However, don't plan on getting a lot of work done waiting for the procedure to finish.

Santa Monica Motors is absolutely the best auto repair shop in LA. I have gone to them for years and they are fast, professional and fair priced. Their mechanics are the best and they always manage to fit me in when I have an emergency. Either Don, Ray or Eloy are in the office handling things with efficiency and humor. I always have a good laugh when I go there and leave in a great mood. I wish all businesses were run this way.

I've been taking my car to SM motors for five years now. I have never once had a bad experience. They are friendly, fairly priced, and on-the-ball. Great guys.

Best service I have ever had. I needed my fluids checked and they kindly did it FOR FREE without an appointment even though they were busy. I have gotten smog checks here that were quick, painless and cost efficient. I would recommend Santa Monica Motors to anyone. You won't find a better group of mechanics in LA.
