I don't know a lot about car maintenance but Josh was helpful and helped me look through the car and recommend the needed maintenance. Good service, nice waiting room, and they also have pick-up and drop-off service so you can get things done instead of waiting for your car (also shout out to the driver - I forgot his name but he is literally human GPS).

If you are one of the many people like me who have a horror story about an experience at a dealership, look no further! I can't imagine talking my car any other place! Everyone is super friendly and honest! They make a point to remember your name and update you regularly when you drop your car off for service. I know very little about cars but Ray and Don have always taken the time to listen to me and have been up front with what is a MUST fix or what can wait. I have a car that is getting up there in years and I recently had what I thought was a minor problem with my AC but when I brought it in it turned out to be the worst case scenario. I struggled with the decision to get it fixed but it's a Honda and those run forever, right? Ray walked me through the fix and told me that beyond this, my car is in good condition. This wasn't a reason to get rid of the car. I went with the fix and the car is back on the road keeping me cool! They guarantee their work so I know I am covered. I will absolutely be back for whatever bumps in the next 100,000 miles occur!

These guys are straightforward, honest, friendly, and really helpful. This place is my go-to for any car service. They have a great waiting room, easy location, and an awesome team. A++

What a great and friendly staff. Had just purchased my first car from a friend and was nervous about getting a smog check for DMV but they made it so simple! Got in and out super fast and they even gave me a discount for checking in. Not every place is certified by the DMV so be careful. This place is certified! Great pricing, great staff, honest, and super reliable. Great business overall.

Quick, reliable, in and out, well priced, conveniently located, flexible. So I strongly recommend them whenever you need a smog check On your car (that's what I needed when I visited them) plus other repairs they do. Keep up the good work!

I've gone to this place a couple times and will continue to go here for my smog checks. there were like 4 people ahead of me and i was in and out in 40 minutes. you park your car inside and then head down the sidewalk to the office and they have a nice cool waiting area with wifi and drinks. i recommend it to anyone who needs a smog check.

Santa Monica Motors provides great service at a fair price. My experience from beginning to end was the best experience I've had at any auto mechanic by far. Josh was very honest and accommodating and my car is running great. I will be a life time costumer. They got my car from numerous check engine codes to smog compliant in less then two days. Thank you again for all the hard work!!
