Hands down, the BEST shop to go to for ANY issues you have with your car. You name the car issue and I've been there for it. Smog checks are super fast. Inspections are incredibly thorough. Repairs are always done properly. This is the only shop I will take my car as I know that this entire crew will be honest, hard working, and diligent in all tasks. Given that I am a woman, I always worry that what people tell me about my car is inaccurate or exaggerated to make an extra profit. Not once did I ever feel this way about Santa Monica Motors. Don (the head guy over there) is beyond helpful in every sense of the word. Instantly, he gave me his contact information to reach out for any issues I had with my car - even it was just a minor question. Indeed, many times I did. Every time I reached out I was provided a prompt and honest response back about how I should handle the situation. Every time I brought my car in Don and his crew were quick to access the potential problem and do their absolute best to fix it in a timely manner. The times where I needed to leave my car at the shop for hours or days, I was provided free of charge, a sweet rental car. For me, this was a huge stress reliever since my job requires a lot of driving! Also, they have a car service to drive you to and from the shop! Again, complimentary! Special shout out to Don and Eloy who just today were kind enough to examine my car for some noises and potential brake issues. Knowing that I needed to get back to work, they took the time to expedite the process and worked on it while I waited. Within 30 minutes, my car was checked out, the issues were fixed and I drove off a happy customer, yet again! I swear, these guys are GEMS! Lets get real. Really, in Los Angeles you wont find this kind of service anywhere. Trust me, I've tried.
