I needed a smog check to renew my registration. This place was right down the street from my office and had great reviews, so thought I'd check them out. I called for an appointment around 11:45am and Bob informed me they don't take them, and that the current wait time was about an hour (it was during the lunch hour, so makes sense they'd be backed up), but promised not to keep any longer than I needed to be. Took my car in around 1pm and was informed the wait time was at least 1.5 hours now. I decided to take a leisurely lunch at Z Garden down the street, since I was there and might as well knock it out. About 1 hour and 45 mins later they called and let me know my car was ready (I could keep an eye on it from my seat at Z Garden), and was told it passed with flying colors as Bob shook my hand. They also checked my tire pressure while they were at it, which is a nice little extra. $10 off with the coupon printed off their website. Total cost was $55. Since they send your report info to the DMV immediately, I was able to make a quick stop at the dmv website right after I left and registration successfully renewed! I recommend - friendly, efficient service - but please call ahead so you know how long you'll be waiting. The approximation was spot on.
