Everyone's got to get one so why not a nice friendly staff to help you comply! Bob is super friendly and explains everything. Very quick if you roll up and they are not busy.

great service! super speedy! and a block away from Lazy Daisy Cafe and Yoshinoya. when i received the smog check notice in the mail, i was extremely annoyed. i see cars on the road everyday that are like miniature locomotives .. but of course i now have to take time out of my day and spend $$ for a smog check i'm pretty sure i didn't need. despite the bad mood i was in walking in to get a smog check, the process itself was as pleasant as can be. dropped off my keys, walked down to lazy daisy for some fresh brewed organic coffee, walked by and sat down for 10 minutes and was out in no time. was in a good mood by the time i left SM smog check... hopefully won't need another smog check for another 5 yrs, but if i do, will def be back.
