These guys are incredibly friendly and FAST! I purchased a Groupon for a smog check, with very clear and easy fine print with no surprises. I was able to make an appointment online for a Wednesday morning (if you call, they say they don't take appts for smog checks) via a very easy to use website and 2 days before the date. I was in and out under 15 minutes! As soon as I pulled up, I was greeted by a mechanic, a trainee mechanic, and the manager. They walked me through everything and apologized for taking longer than "usual"! They then directed me to their cozy and spacious waiting room - which offers complimentary coffee, water, and even a charging station for your phone! Bob at the counter was so warm and welcoming and walked me through all of the paperwork. This has been the most pleasant mechanic experience I've had in my 10 years of living in LA!

Had what I thought was a major issue with my newly-bought used car and didn't have a mechanic that I knew (my regular guy won't work on this particularly type) to look at it. My guy told me to call SM Motors and I am ecstatic that I did. Very friendly and kind service and Josh in particular was extremely helpful. I recommend highly!
