So, I haven't been the best mom to my car as I should be. In fact you can even claim that I've been a neglient parent. I don't give my car weekly car washes like other parents, but the worst is that I probably haven't had an oil change in over 18 months!In comes Don and Santa Monica Motors. SEtting up the appointment was a breeze. I called Wednesday around lunchtime and Don was able to take me in the next day at 8am. I told him how awful I've been treating my car and he reassured me that it will be okay.Thursay morning, Don tells me that he will not sell me anything off the cuff so he hands me an estimate only for the oiil change and said the inspection is free. He promised to give me a call right after the inspection to give me a list of priorities and we will go from there.3 hours later, Don calls me and gives me the run down. Again, he was reallly nice about the whole thing. He didn't lecture me about what I should have done. He rattles off a list of what needs to be done. But tells me what he thinks are must-haves, i.e. so I can drive my car safely versus things we can wait on to chisel away at the list. I told him what my budget was and he was able to work with it. I am so glad that I have found an honest, efficient and all-around great company to whip my whip back into shape. I will definitely be a better parent and take my car in in about a month to continue to chisel away at the to-do list. Come see Don and his team!
