Due to catalytic converter theft, I currently have an aftermarket CARB-compliant and legal unit installed in my vehicle. Other shops have given me issue since it's not factory. Steve here knows the laws, verified my equipment accordingly, and tested me without a hitch. Highly recommended!

All the people that worked here that I interacted with were very nice and welcoming (including to my dog). The process was very quick. They notified me via text that the work was done — it took about 15 minutes. And I was able to use a Yelp check in for a coupon discount.

Let's start off by saying I hate to get my car smogged! However I pulled into Santa Monica motors was greeted by a lovely gentleman who immediately took my car in and smogged it. I cannot say enough positive things about this place they're so pleasant and quick a wonderful experience!
